Someone at MiamiPHP had the bright idea of harvesting email addresses of domains they think are related to PHP and blasting out unsolicited email asking for a link trade. This wouldn't have been such a bad idea except that it is probably illegal (thanks CAN-SPAM) and definitely rude. It wouldn't have bothered me except that they sent me three emails to the same domain (webmaster@, info@, and an email address harvested from WHOIS records). I wonder how many other sites they sent mail to.
