For a little over a year I have been working not only with internet businesses, but also at our (my father, wife, and I) retail clothing franchise (Plato's Closet of Cool Springs). The experience of owning my own brick-and-mortar business has been invaluable. This experence has helped re-focus my thoughts on technology (it is about the business, not the technology). Meanwhile I have been enamoured with modular web application design. Last night on the way to Plato's Closet I realized why modular application make really good business sense.
