Today, I saw the new iMacs. At first, I wasn't all that impressed. Several other companies have tried the all-in-one design before and failed. That was until I saw the price. A 20" wide-screen display for $1,900. To put this into perspective, a 20" wide-screen monitor from Apple is $1300, so basically you're getting a G5 for $600. Wow. For once in my life, I am tempted to get a Mac. I have been willing to admit that Mac is superior in many ways, but I have always complained about the large up-front cost since my PC works great for me. However, this newest iMac is definately a temptation. Will I be getting one any time soon? Who knows. But mark this date before I try to delete the blog entry! :)
