Hey, i have tryed along time to use socket over the internett, but i got a firewall. Cant i use socket over internett when i got a firewall?
The ftplib works fine, that uses socket, why wont my programs work???

Please help me :)

It sounds like your firewall might be configured to allow commonly used ports but not any other ones.

Which port number are you trying to connect to?
