*Smile* Hello. I'm new to python...

Tried a search for this topic but it didn't turn up my answer, so I was hoping you could help.

I've written my first script and after much trial, error, and help-asking managed to change it to an .exe file with py2exe. The file executes fine on this computer. Moving it to my laptop, I finally realized I needed to move the entire dist folder. It runs there now, too.

However when I upload the folder to my webspace, the exe will not run. I'm not sure what else I need to include:

Any ideas what I'm missing to make this happen?

Thank you for any help you can provide,
mel

Ask your provider. You should have rights to execute files on that machine. Also you should learn about CGI.
