The Best way to ;earn Design Patterns?

Hi Guys,

I was going through the Thinking in Pattern book. Even though I understand each pattern the explanation as to the circumstances where it is ideal to use or where it has been adopted in the Java API is not explained in the book.

Is there any book out there which will be explainging these stuff? or do you think its best to guy the GoF book and for the sample Java coding to reffer to Thinking in Pattern book will be a good way to learn about Design Pattern....

It's simple, clear with consistent examples. It also describes where each pattern is used within the Java Foundation Classes (JFC).
