Hello All,

Is it necessary/reqd that the Architect should know all the programming languages/tools used in a project.

Suppose, there is Project, in which lots of Languages/tools are used [Ex: C++, J2EE, Siebel, SAP etc etc]. Should the Architect, {who will main person,} have working exp on all the languages used?? or its ok, if doesnt know some/all the languages.

The reason, i am asking is: It will have a direct impact on the project.

Thanks in Advance,
