I saw Lost in Translation yesterday. It was extremely good. It is now my favourite Bill Murray movie - as he too has said. The range of emotions portrayed in this movie is spectacular - the script really addresses the emotions we all feel but are rarely shown on the big screen.

This is a love story, sure, but it's not your classic love story and the ending is... well. I don't want to spoil it. Does anyone know what Bill whispers to the heroine at the end? I think the idea of that scene was for ourselves to dip in to our souls and decide what it was we would say to her.. so:

"This last week with you has rekindled my love for life and I will treasure it forever." .. I think that's what he said to her. it's what I would say - but then, I'm not sure I would have cheated on my wife. I'm not sure I would have been working in Toyko -without- my family there. But I'm not at that stage in my life yet.

Excellent movie - go watch it.
