I try to keep the non-Smalltalk blogs to a bare minimum here. But now and then again...

For Christmas, Santa brought a cool DVD to our house, a video called Animusic. Sort of like a modern computer generated Fantasia. Seven songs, the music is original, and all of the graphics are computer generated automated musical playing gizmos. One of the things that's cool is to be able to "see" the music being played by these geek-gadgets, sometimes preemptively, since the "instrument" must be set in motion before the sounds hits. What I find cool, is that all of the video is programmed responses to the music score, not the other way around.
