It's systematic. It's hiiiiiiiighdromatic! Cue John Travolta.

Alan Knight never misses a chance to let me know when "I could do that just so easy with Glorp." I've been resisting using it. I'm not a database guy. I don't really do much with databases in any of the stuff I do (I smugly pity those of you that do).

Porting to VW7.3, I decided to concede and give some of these VW addons that use Glorp a try. What a gem this thing is!! One feature is worth it's weight in gold. There is an alternate implementation of the _Store Replication_ package using Glorp. Being able to reconcile faster/cleaner/whatever is in itself mostly a yawn for me (I have fast connections and a fast computers). The slam dunk though is this Auto replicator thing. This is just REALLY cool. I mean REALLY (enough with the "REALLY"'s already; I'll spare you the 157 consecutive "very's" in Lemony Snicket's #2 book).

This thing is a periodic (configurable) process which computes necessary replications and performs them for you in the background. Between multiple databases. I have four repositories that I regularly keep various packages betwixt various sets of them. This thing is a huge time saver for me. Thank you so much Alan. I'm currently keeping !26! separate packages synced between repositories.
