Over on the VAST Newsgroup, there's an interesting thread about the future of VAST. This is all the more interesting due to the "transition" talk that IBM hosted at last year's Smalltalk Solutions. If you've been hearing about transitioning from VAST - and if the transition offer is to Java or .NET - you should realize that there's another choice. Any migration to Cincom Smalltalk is going to be a ton easier than moving to Java or C#. We have service partners with experience in this area as well, so if you want to stay in the Smalltalk world, take a serious look at Cincom.
