John Dvorak has some unkind words for MS on Word. I often see Dvorak as a blustering talking head, but he's got something here. I've never been happy with Word's notions of "plain text" format or it's atrocious HTML generation either. I know I've gotten answers on why bullets and numbering are so screwed up, but it doesn't matter - they never get fixed. When I end up using the VisualWorks text editor instead of Word for document creation, you know I've gotten desperate....
