Apparently, a small village near sicily has been evacuated due to electronic devices - toasters, microwaves, heaters, tv's, etc, suddenly bursting in to flames for no apparent reason.

So the power station cut power to the town and put in a generator. So the generator caught on fire too. For a month the problems went away - but now they're back in force. Almost every day has something catch on fire.

Doesn't any body remember Close Encounters of the 3rd kind - the government faked a nerve gas spill in the area so that they could evacuate the town? - forget scientific explanation, forget religion stigmata.. it's government conspiracy all the way for me! :)

(This blog does not condone spontaneous electronic combustion)
