Smalltalk Solutions

I have my tickets for the Smalltalk Solutions conference in Seattle, in May. I'll be arriving by noon on the preceding Saturday.

I'm looking forward to this conference for several reasons:

  1. It's a chance to meet Smalltalk people I only know online.
  2. The conference program is looking really good.
  3. Mark Roberts (from Cincom) and I will be giving a talk on SmalltalkDoc and we're hoping to get a lot of feedback.

What's SmalltalkDoc? Here's Mark's description of it. In brief, it's a set of VisualWorks tools for adding meaningful documentaion to Smalltalk code, along with tools for publishing it to a website. Of course, getting programmers to actually use the tools to write documentation is a different (and far more difficult) problem, but SmalltalkDoc will at least make it easy to do so.
