What I find most amusing about this story is that people are defining what the pidgeons are doing as 'cheating'. Really, when it comes down to it, they're -smarter- for following the roads, not dumber. Think about it - how did they get where they were going?, by road. What is the biggest arrow from birds-eye-view.. roads. I say pidgeons are smarter for following roads than for magically 'finding their way home'.
