Silicon Valley Insider sounds pretty sure that an Apple tablet announcement is on the way:

Apple is preparing to show off a new, larger mobile device with a higher resolution display in January -- probably a version of the Apple tablet we've been hearing about for months -- according to a plugged-in source in the mobile industry.

If that comes to pass, I'll say this: Arrington should just save his money, and drop his CrunchPad related lawsuits... because this tablet would remove all of the oxygen available for the one he's been on about.
