Sometimes you end up painting yourself into a corner you're not entirely happy with. Take the old version of all the "Smalltalk Daily" web pages - until a week or so ago, they were all just lists of links. Fairly dull, and just not terribly compelling looking. I updated them to use images (small screencaps) from the videos themselves, and I think it brought a better look.

Now it's the video pages. There's no easy scripting out for these though; with the dailies, I was able to pull out the original posts, and then script the construction of the new pages pretty easily. The video pages, on the other hand, are just straight links back to the videos in question. So - it's going to be a manual slog.

This afternoon I updated the main index page for the videos - now I just have all of the sub-pages to wander through. Not hard, just time consuming and tiresome :)
