So I installed Windows 7 into a VM, having just gotten Parallels 5 installed. I was testing out an install of ObjectStudio 8.2, and I wanted the latest OS for that. So... are you telling me that the UAC system prompts you less often in Vista? Seriously?

I'm running as administrator, because it's just a VM, and I figured I might get prompted less. Bah - it was popping up little "do you really want to do X?" dialogs for just about everything - install an app, uninstall an app, just look at the registry (to make sure keys were installed), change the UAC settings to something less paranoid. Yeesh.

To paraphrase the MS ads: I'm not a PC, and boy am I happy about that :)
