There's "we don't support that", and then there's "no frakkin' way are we supporting that". Apple is going the second route with respect to the Hackintosh community and the Atom processor:

It’s not out in the wild yet, but 10.6.2 has been confirmed to kill support for the Intel Atom processor, this is especially important for Hackintosh users who have hacked various Atom based netbooks to run Snow Leopard.

This is starting to look like the Palm Pre/iTunes thing...
