Have you seen the new BBC show Believe Nothing? With Nigel from the Young Ones?. It's very funny. They do global conspiracies. This weeks conspiracy was that back at water gate the president wanted to remove 18 minutes of time so that he couldn't be pinned to being in a certain place at a certain time..
To achieve this, he subsidised the chinese to make subquality digital watchs that lost 30 seconds every hour. Very quickly the 18 minutes disappeared. It was now 30 years later.. and there is the issue of global warming.
It turns out, that there is no global warming, the time difference has accumulated to several months, enough so that it seems like spring is where winter should be, etc. :) Cute idea.
