Well, the Web Velocity demo went well - I'm listening to Dale talk about GLASS now. Small technical problem - my video camera broke, so we are scrambling for backup recording methods. I'm using James Savidge's iSight camera right now; I have no idea how well that will play out. As it happens, we have another person with a real camera, so we may be ok.

Anyway, Dale's going through the background on GLASS, and how Gemstone works with Seaside. Cool stuff - here's Dale:

Their approach is different than ours, but that's great - because my take is, the more options there are for Seaside developers, the better things are. He's showing scalability using multiple VM's in his demo.

They have a neat thing with debugging - they can persist the continuation holding the busted code. Makes it possible to look at a problem later, which is neat.
