Troy delivers a better smackdown on the Enterprisey one than I did a few days ago:
Since McGovern seemed to think that a COBOL "hello world" example would be so convincingly damning of COBOL when compared to Java, it seems clear that (1) McGovern doesn't know squat about programming and (2) he doesn't know squat about COBOL and (3) he's too lazy to do even minimal research.
I think that means he's an "industry analyst".
Ouch - that's pretty harsh - go read the whole thing.
