A number of releases ago, we changed the behavior of literal objects from mutable to immutable. This was a bug fix, but there's probably a fair amount of older code that relies on the older behavior. So on this morning's Smalltalk Daily, we look at a compatibility package that allows you to set that old behavior into place. The caveat being, this is not a safe thing to do, especially not for new systems :)
