Windows cost me about 45 minutes when I could have been going to bed last night. How? Well, my daughter needed to print out a document - she was using an old Windows laptop, one which I print from all the time, because I dump expense reports from it with Excel. Except... she couldn't print. IN fact, Windows was telling her that the shared printer (the one I use all the time) was unavailable. I switched accounts, printed a file - no problem. From her accout? No dice.
From any of the Macs in the house? No problem. I love the meaningful error message, to. It wasn't "you don't have access", it was "that printer is unavailable". Swell. Productive? Not so much.
