I love Windows Update. Here's the joy we've had on the last few:

  • Update 1: laptop won't hold a charge. Update 2: Works again. Update 3: laptop won't hold a charge. Update 4: Works again
  • Wife's media center PC, after an update: Graphics adaptor no longer allows non-expanded dual monitor. Before the update: worked fine

That's just the recent stuff. Her older machine always lost track of the network settings after an update. I'm not saying that Apple updates are flawless, but they seem to have a whole lot less sux0rness about them.
