Eliot Miranda has started a blog to explain the work he's doing on a faster Croquet/Squeak VM for Qwaq. Here's my question though: why start from scratch when there's the Exupery work out there? I can see that the goals for Cog are somewhat different from the goals for Exupery, but still, the end goal is similar: a fast VM.

Incidentally, we talked to Bryce Kampjes and David Griswold on the podcast last year, covering Strongtalk and Exupery - you can listen to that here.
