I've never been entirely happy with the code I had for RSS auto-discovery - so yesterday I sat down and took a look at the code. What I had was a what the heck was I thinking? reaction to my code. Bleah, it was ugly. I shredded what I had and pretty much started over. I had a convoluted mess of code that involved handling events from lower layers of the application. The way this works is much, much cleaner now, and - to boot - is faster. I only have this in the under development 7.2 version of the application, so if you want to check it out, download the dev version from here.
