Arcterex isn't the only one who's nervous about this "enhanced" bios. Amongst the rest of the features:

Oh boy, that will make me want to use untrusted wifi access points - having the system jump on the network before my software firewall comes up. How many worms will leap down the pipe and lie in wait before the firewall comes up? Who knows? Not to mention the fact that MS will likely shove DRM into this layer, which will completely abolish fair use rights. No thanks, really
