DLLCC stuff and other low level hacking, means I'm running a higher risk than normal of creating unrecoverable images. Normally, if your image crashes, you just "recover changes" from the Change List. It gives you a list of snapshots and you get to to pick.

But when the image won't start anymore, or is unusable even after starting, you get to build a new image. But then you want to restore any (or at least some of) the changes that you can't load into the image, because you hadn't published yet. You can scan the old changes file from the toasted image, but then you get to scroll painstakingly looking for the checkpoint you're interested in.

So I published a one method package called ExtraChanges which adds a new menu option to recover last changes back to... an arbitrary .cha file which you get to pick. Enjoy.
