Just a short celebratory note. :) Will Gwaltney and I released Ship It! A Practical Guide to Successful Software Projects just over a year ago and it's been immensely rewarding to see it selling more now than it did last year at this time.

With a lot of help from Andy Hunt, we tried to make the book technology neutral, like the original Pragmatic Programmer. We didn't want Ship It to lose it's effectiveness when the next version of Java or .NET was released. And it seems to surviving. :)

I'd like to say thanks for the people who found a few more errors in this printing. One of reasons I love working with Dave and Andy is we get to fix every error as it's found. :)

So thanks to Will Ekiel, Judy King, and Shriram Natarajan. We had lots of changes in the second printing, but this one only had a few bits of errata to fix!

Tell you what, if you can find some unreported errata for the fourth printing, I'll send you a Ship It shirt. :) How's that? Be sure to send me mail letting me know you've reported something. And be sure it's not already fixed the "tip of the tree".

Jared
