I seem to be having all kinds of problems with the Refactoring Browser (VW 7.1 NC April, 2003). Sometimes things like renaming and removing (classes or variables) works and sometimes it doesn't. And sometimes junk gets left behind that really causes it confusion. The latest is that I can't seem to add an instance variable to a superclass.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I tried filing out a bad package, unloading it, and then filing the copy back in, but that didn't work.
Am I just using an obsolete version? I really wasn't planning to go to VW 7.2 until it is officially released.
