It's 5:40am, I'm in the Canberra airport, waiting to fly to Sydney. I've had pretty bad luck when it comes to International travel and I tguess hopefully I'm expecting things to go smoothly this time.

My luggage is booked through to Toronto, boarding is at 6:15am, so I've got some time to kill. Canberra has a wireless hot spot from Telstra now - interesting. You do have to pay for it though; typical.

I was surprised to discover that my e-ticket didn't work. It informed me, "Mr. Smith" that I needed to contact a Qantas person. Two things: First, it got my name wrong even though I swiped my credit card and two, even if that had worked, which it didn't, apparently the e-ticket doesn't work for an international connect! Weird.

Being a master of having my travel plans disrupted, my heart didn't even speed up, not a problem at all in fact. I calmly queued using my English-heritage to the best and got my ticket the old fashion way.

All seems well and I'm looking forward to trying my new Bose QuietComfort II out on this prop airplane. It's a one hour flight to Sydney.
