I spent the afternoon at the Getty Museum; I'm in LA for a family event over the weekend. It's a beautiful place, with phenomenal views of the surrounding area. Then there's the collection itself! I really enjoyed the dutch masters section - after my recent reading about the early 17th century in Europe, I got a much better feel for some of the points that the artists were trying to make.
