Lately I've been getting in to the world of the video podcast. There aren't many audio podcasts that I see myself getting in to - mostly because reading lets me skip boring bits while audio doesn't.

There is an exception to that - the Ricky Gervais show has a chapters link at the top of iTunes which lets you skip past some of their segments (not that I would, hearing about Karl's round head is very amusing).

I'm mostly interested in comedy stuff - and as far as comedy goes, the video podcasts are a big winner.

Oh, before I go on to the video podcasts, a big Hello to Dr. Steve and his sock shaped assistance fidget at The Radio Adventures of Dr. Floyd. Great stuff. They have a phone number you can call in and leave a message on and they might use your message. I gave it a go, I thought calling from Australia might be a nice novelty.. it seems I didn't make the cut, oh well :)

So, some very funny video podcasts I've been enjoying lately:

No 1: Without a doubt, is "Ask a Ninja". This is hilarious, truly hilarious. I look forward to killing you later.

No 2: Tiki Bar TV. This just seems to be a bunch of friends in front of a camera acting like silly buggers while getting drunk. Brilliant :) And educational too.. I've learnt some really awesome sounding drinks from their show.. can't wait to try them out.

No 3: Ministry of Unknown Science. This is a bit of a grab bag but sometimes it's particularly funny. You have to take this one as it comes.

No 4: French Maid TV. While this podcast is particularly fun on the eyes :) There has so far only been two episodes of busty maids jumping around and 'celebrating'. I look forward to more!

I was also subscribed to Bryan Singer's journey video podcast about Superman Returns. This podcast got my psyched for the movie. I wish he'd done more of it right up until post production.

And last but not least, The Diner by James Lileks. So far his audio podcast hasn't been as good as his previous Diner and podcast stuff, but I'm sure it'll pick up again. The Diner isn't every one's cup of tea, but I find it amusing.
