So it's Saturday again and unlike some Saturday's, this Saturday I've got lots on. Hooray. After sharing my first breakfast with my house mate David (who was having his 3rd breakfast) and watching the second episode of Stargate Atlantis (a new purchase as of yesterday) I've realised that the is just getting started.
First of all I've got a BBQ lunch at Rowan's new house - a house warming, which is always fun and good and hopefully most of Software WithStyle will be there. Then after that I've got Settlers of Catan with Seafarers of Catan and Knights and Cities of Catan with the expansions of all over at my friend James's house where me, David, James, James's wife Mel and my other house mate Michael regularly play.
And to top it off, this girl that I've randomly come in contact with is still chatting with me over email.
A bright and warm and wonderful day.. the only problem is that on Monday I have to go back to full time work - my holidays will be over. Gasp, oh no. The CEO of Wizard gave me a call this morning to give me a heads up on a big broohaha that's been taking place over the last week. They've got a meeting on it on Monday to get me up to speed and hear my thoughts, so Tony wanted to kick start my brain early. Drrr.
So, what better way to spend the last few minutes before I head to the BBQ than to listen to 'Buckbeak's Flight' from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, a truly inspiring piece of music. Although, not quite as good as the 'Modern' selection from Civilisation 4. I've really been enjoying Harmonielehre. Civ4 also lets you go to your own music collection, but it's so vast and varied I'd be afraid I'd get something inappropriate for my current game play. Music really does affect your ability to nuke James Robertson.
