Feed Description: Pollock - the next VW GUI
As promised, I have published an interim version of Pollock to the Cincom Public repository.
It now comes 4 parts.
Two bundles; Pollock version 6.13.0 and PollockTesting version 6.13.0.
Two packages; Pollock-Building version 6.13.1 and Pollock-Testing-Building version 6.13.0.
Why four parts instead of two?
As we begin the work on Splash, the future visual editor for building Pollock user interfaces, we have broken out the parts of Pollock that relate to Specifications and the behavior of building an application. This is simply a mechanical thing so that while I work on the core of Pollock, Vassili Bykov can work on Splash without concern that we step on each other's code.
That part is in effect shared between the GUI project (Pollock) and the Tools project (Splash). In time, those packages will be brought back into the core of Pollock.
