I picked up Stéphane Ducasse's new book "Squeak - Learning to Program with Robots" the other day and I was impressed with his approach to teaching programming. This book is excellent for anyone trying to learn programming and Smalltalk (Squeak) is an excellent environment to learn it in.

When school starts in September, I'm going to show it to the computer programming teacher at my daughter's high school. Maybe can get them to switch from Turing to Smalltalk as their first programming language.
