Last night, we played a true "Beer and Pretzels" game - "Monsters Menace America". I don't mean that in a bad way - it's a fun game, not at all complex, and doesn't take long to play. Here's a shot of the board from the game site:

Monsters Menace America You get to play a monster (I got a lobster man) and a few military units. Your military units try to knock down the other monsters while yours stomps cities and gets stronger. At the end of the game, there's a final "monster mash" where you do a fight to the death. It's simple, mindless entertainment :)

If you're looking for a fun little game, you won't go too wrong with this one. High strategy it's not, but it's fun.
