Well, I have to admit that the Mac seems to handle video and audio a lot better than Windows. We have a new Media Center PC, with tons of memory and all the latest software. We have a Mac Mini as well. Plugging the video camera into Windows, we couldn't get the default camera wizard to deal with it, and the software that ships with the Sony is horrible. For reasons I fail to understand, it defaults to sending video without audio. To boot, the quality of said video was poor after it made it across.

Now, contrast that to plugging the camera into the Mac. iMovie was easy enough that my daughter was transferring video over immediately after we plugged it in. Full audio and video, with no wandering about through inscrutable settings.

So there you go Scoble - the lowest end Mac is easier to deal with in this realm than a high end Media Center PC. Seems like kind of a problem to me.
