It was a brutally hot day today - 95 in the shade near the house, hotter where there's pavement. My car has no (working) Air Conditioning, so by the time I got my daughter from her day camp, I was soaked. We decided to go swimming after my wife got home - after I got into the diving board line again, one of the kids behind me spotted a tick on my back. Joy - not in a place I could reach, and my daughter couldn't get it off - a life guard finally managed.

So, now I have to watch for "interesting" symptoms. I've had Lyme disease before (fortunately, it was caught and treated early). Too much excitement for such a hot day :)
