Seems Glenn Reynolds is second to the book in his family:

My eleven year old boy just finished, and reported it to be his second favorite. I will say, though, that he was very, very sad and depressed when he was finished. I would like to add my comments, but I am only on about page 25. I threatened my son with being tied up naked in his school cafeteria (a terrible threat for an 11 year old boy) if he gave me any spoilers.

Yeah, about two chapters in my daughter started telling me something about the book, and I had to tell her that leaked details would result in the book's seizure (and return only upon my completion of the book). That got her to stop trying to reveal the plot :)

She's not done yet, so I can't assume anything about the ending. However, I know that my daughter and I have heard plenty of rumors about a major character dying in this book. I have to wait a couple of hours to get started though...

Update: She is done. Now I get at the book :)
