My daughter and I spent a couple of hours outside the Barnes and Noble this evening, waiting to buy the sixth Potter book. It was a big crowd - they had signs for 100 people at a time to form lines, and the last line was the "over 1000" group (we all got issued wriste bands with numbers). It was a lomg wait outside - I should have taken my wife's offer of the director's chair seriously. It was all worth it though - we got the prize at the end:
