I've had several requests to deliver Simberon and Xia System's courses in Toronto in the late summer or early fall. If we have enough interest, we can run these courses.

The courses are intermediate to advanced level courses for developers who already know Smalltalk, Java, or C# and wish to improve their object oriented design skills. These are no-hype courses based on over 10 years of experience with object oriented development. They demonstrate the intent, the benefits and the drawbacks of the techniques. We explain why certain techniques help and why others can lead to trouble.

The descriptions of the courses can be found at:

Object Oriented Techniques and Best Practice Patterns
Experiencing Design Patterns

If you are interested in attending these courses, please e-mail me at david@simberon.com.

If you are interested in having these courses delivered on-site anywhere else, e-mail me and we'll schedule them in.
