Spotted in Scobleizer: Microsoft Geek Blogger. So scoble interviewed Steve Ballmer. Boy were there some funny quotes in there.

My favourite one is this: "1 + 1 = 3". Quality stuff there.

Actually, what really struck me was the whole Innovation meme they're trying to spread. Clue stick: "Doing stuff" != "Innovating". You might want to check sometime just how much innovation is going on. That's right, the XBox360 is -not- innovation. Nintendo's Rumblepack - that was innovation (so much so Sony ripped it off ASAP).

I think a strong quality in a CEO is to be able to see past the smoke and mirrors of marketing - otherwise how can they truly improve a company if they aren't able to recognise its weaknesses?
