Another week has gone by, so it's time to have a look at the logs. BottomFeeder downloads for the week went at a rate of just over 330 per day, so that looks pretty healthy:

PlatformBottomFeeder Downloads
Windows698
Mac 8/9339
Linux x86313
HPUX289
Sources253
Mac X147
CE ARM98
Update82
Windows98/ME33
Linux Sparc24
Solaris19
AIX12
SGI10
Linux PPC7
ADUX3
Source Script2

Still demonstrates the value of having a cross platform tool available. I'm getting ready to move on that roadmap too, so a new release shouldn't be far off. Next - a look at the tools that hit the HTML blog pages:

ToolPercentage of Accesses
Internet Explorer56.1%
Mozilla37.8%
Other2.8%
Google Bot1.3%
BottomFeeder1%
Java1%

That's interesting - I haven't had IE beat out Mozilla since I've been tracking. On the other hand, I got hammered with referral spam last week, and I bet that's the explanation. Finaly, let's see what happened with agents fetching the RSS feeds:

ToolPercentage of Accesses
Mozilla20.6%
BottomFeeder17.3%
Net News Wire13.7%
Other6.2%
SharpReader4.4%
NewsGator4%
Safari RSS4%
BlogLines3.6%
BlogSearch3.4%
Lilina2.2%
Planet Smalltalk1.9%
Internet Explorer1.8%
Java1.8%
Feed Demon1.8%
MSN Bot1.8%
Feed Reader1.7%
Magpie1.5%
Liferea1.5%
RSS Bandit1.4%
Opera1.4%
Python1%
Feed Tagger1%
JetBrains1%
Glucose1%

Well, that supports my theory that the surge of IE hits is referer spam - it isn't reflected at all in the RSS stats. It's still a huge variety of tools in use though.
