As James pointed out, my travel plans haven't gone entirely as planned. To begin with my flight from Canberra to Sydney was slightly longer than expected.. just long enough that when I got to the bus that goes from Domestic to International.. it left.

So I missed my flight to San Francisco. They put me on a flight to LAX. Damn.. I was trying to avoid LAX. In fact, I gloated many times that I wouldn't have to land in LAX.. I tormented the gods and they smiteth me back.

They also set me up with a waiting list for a 12:40 flight. I arrive slightly too late for that, rush to it any way and they tell me if I'd gotten on I would have been stranded in Vegas! So.. small bit of luck. They rescheduled me to be on waiting for the 10:30pm flight. At this point James Robertson seemed to get a bit annoyed.. I'd arrive at 6:40am in the morning which'd mean he'd have to get up really early!

Well, lucky for Jim I guess, I couldn't get on that flight. So, unlucky for me I spent 10 hours at the LAX airport in vain. Finally, at the end of all that a lady helped me book for tomorrow's 10:30pm. So I lose a day to LA, then fly through the night.. which means my two days in Melbourne, Florida are gone.. thus dashing my dreams of seeing NASA :(:(:(.

Oh and not to mention the price of the hotel I've now not stayed in...

So I'll arrive on the Saturday and book in to the Wyndham.. hopefully my luggage will arrive. Yes, that's right.. I have no luggage right now. Hah. Just the clothes on my back in a hotel that has overcharged me because all the other hotels are already completely booked. Hah.

At least I get to see a bit of LA tomorrow? Gotta go with the flow you know...
