If this isn’t your first visit to the eXPlainPMT website, you’ll have noticed that things have been in a state of flux around here for some time. I’ve been trying to decide on the best system to use to power this website. I’ve finally (for the time being ;-) ) decided on the typo weblog engine. The main reasons for the decision include:
It’s a Ruby on Rails application, just like eXPlainPMT
It was damned easy to setup, and the default design isn’t bad as a start until I get time to customize it
Most of what will be published regarding the system is general news and release announcements—something a weblog is particularly well-suited for
