eXPlain Project Management Tool - 1.0 was released last Friday (March 25th,
2005). This is the first public release of the system. Although a number of
improvements will be made in the upcoming minor releases, the system is
currently stable and usable.
Features in this release include:
MultipleProjects can be hosted in one installation.
MutlipleUserAccounts can be shared between projects.
AdminUsers can create/edit/delete projects and user accounts
and assign users to project teams
ProjectTeams determine which users have access to which
projects
StoryCards keep track of work to be done/features to include
in a project in the same way they are used in traditional eXtreme
Programming (www.extremeprogramming.org)
Iterations allow the project team to schedule story cards for
completion and track their progress on a project.
Milestones allow the team to keep track of external date constraints
such as important conferences, product demos, etc.
PersonalDashboards allow users to keep track of the work
they are responsible for across projects.
You can download the latest release from the RubyForge
project repository.

any bugs or have any suggestions for improving the system.
