Yes, go and figure out how to hand-craft your WSDL. Have fun! ... because there are no viable tools. Not for the .NET developer. Yeah, there are a few - but honestly, they do not cut it. Sorry.
And no, I do not want to use the code-based approach to contract-first and run xsd.exe and similar tools on the command line.. I want an integrated development experience, so to say.
And no, customers do not want to wait until Whidbey and Whitehorse - and they have started to realize that there actually won't be any help for designing contract-first Web services in VS 2005.
