As I said last night, “It's public enough that the full builds of the next Community drop for the full VS2005 product are just around the corner as it already exists in certain programs.” Well, around the corner came fast-) The builds that have been available a few days in certain beta programs have been made public on MSDN. There is a SQL Server 2005 CTP October 2005 and a Visual Studio 2005 for the SQL Server 2005 CTP available on MSDN Subscriber Downloads. When you look for VS, make sure you look under SQL Server as its grouped with it there.

Heed this warning:

This is a specific build of Visual Studio 2005 designed to work with the Community Technology Preview of SQL Server 2005. While betas receive a much higher level of testing and feature work, CTPs are intended to expose developers to the latest working build. The Visual Studio 2005 for the SQL Server 2005 Community Technology Preview (CTP) is therefore still unsupported pre-release software and there are some precautions you should take. Please make sure you read the Visual Studio 2005 Readme located on the disc image prior to installing this release.
